                                  "Brotherhood" of Saint Martin:  what is it about ?




This is a mutual aid association. Winegrowers help colleagues who can no longer work due to illness, accidents or death.

Saint Martin's Day will be celebrated this year on February 3, 2024.

The programme of the day is the same from year to year:

- a procession comes to collect the Saint from the winegrower who took care of him for a year. (In 2023: Hervé Charlopin)
- a religious service takes place at the church of L'Assomption in Marsannay la Côte
- the procession drops off the Saint with the winegrower who will welcome him throughout the year 2024 (Sylvain Pataille)
- A banquet brings together “Marsannay lovers” to celebrate Saint Martin, in a friendly atmosphere.
