The “Paulées de Marsannay”

Every two years, during the week-long Grands Jours de Bourgogne, we have celebrated the winegrowers of Marsannay by organising a convivial evening that brings together more than 300 people at the Château de Marsannay.

 

Each event has a different theme, and many speakers from all over the world come to share their passion for the appellation. Thus, in 2010, we welcomed Jonathan Nossiter, director of the famous film, MondoVino. In 2014, five wine journalists (originally from five different continents), each agreed to talk about the image of the appellation in their respective country and continent : thus sharing their passion from the four corners of the planet !

 

For the next edition (2024), we have chosen the theme "Marsannay in the Stars", because Marsannay is now available in Michelin-starred restaurants. This provides proof that the appellation "villages" has found its place on the most beautiful wine lists, while we await confirmation of our future Premiers Crus…… There are now fourteen potential Premiers Crus in Marsannay, and this new classification has been under discussion at the INAO since 2012. We hope to have good news about them for you soon!
